Los Plebes

Los Plebes was created by Hillsboro-raised cousins Eddie and Emmanuel Garcia, and is a vibrant and flavorful food cart that brings Tijuana street tacos culture to Portland. With a passion for their culinary roots, they've mastered the art of spit-roasted al pastor, creating mouthwatering dishes that are a true celebration of Mexican cuisine. In addition to their delightful al pastor offerings, Los Plebes serves up exciting Saturday specials, including the delectable bistec with chile negro. As the first entrepreneurs in their family, Eddie and Emmanuel embarked on this culinary journey with guidance from a supportive family friend who owns a stall at the Hillsboro Flea Market. Their dedication to their craft and the flavors of Mexico is evident in every dish they serve, and their vibrant food cart has been slinging some of the best street tacos in town for years. As a part of the previous food cart pod in the neighborhood, Los Plebes was the first cart to join the Lil’ America family and set the tone for all the deliciousness to come.
